7 Lb Silicone / Wood Slab Mold

7 Pound - Wholesale Item

The slab liner will make approximately 7-8 pounds of soap. The soaps made in the slab liner can be cut to any width or length you prefer. Includes wood lid.

We recommend using sodium lactate to harden, the soap comes right out of the silicone molds.no sticking to the side or wrinkles that appear at times in silicone liners. Fill to 1/2 inch from the top. Your soap may need an extra couple of days to fully harden since the flexible silicone sides do not allow air inside the mold. This allows slower evaporation of water and hardening of soap Try it with melt & Pour.

Care of your mold: We recommend hand washing your mold.

I like it but don't love it

My favourite part of the mold is the heavy duty liner. The box portion of the mold is fine however, the lid is a PITA to slide in & out. A VERY tight fit & not a great grip indent on the lid. I will likely attach a small handle myself. The thin edges on the lid which slide in are also far too weak, which led me to nearly crack that edge off trying to remove it to take a look inside. I did hear a crack - fortunately it didn't seem to break off yet - and pray it holds up through many uses. I will have to lubricate the sides of the lid well in order to avoid breakage in the future.

I haven't yet used it in an actual batch as I just picked up my order a few days ago. Keeping my fingers crossed that this was a good purchase as it was not an inexpensive mold.

Spectacular Product

been making soap for years in whatever funky containers I could scrounge up ... wish I had invested in one of these ages ago! With the sodium lactate even my soft soaps are released easily and it cleans up like a dream. Thank soapandmore for this beauty that will last me for several lifetimes.

Love it.

It was my first time making soap so I was a little unsure, but everything went well with the mold. Soap came out smoothly and was easy to clean.
The only thing is the lid is kinda hard to slide off.
