Aids in moisture retention due to its strong hygroscopic properties (silk is credited with the ability to retain 10,000 times its weight in water), resulting in optimum conditioning and increased strength.

Provides superior conditioning properties, making it ideal for natural-type conditioners, shampoos, and hair repairing systems. Links hair fibres to improve elasticity, resiliency, and restore the moisture balance.

Highly recommend - works great!

Some silks and hydrolyzed silk protein stink but this one is fine. Nothing offensive noticeable in the final product. Highly recommend as a moisturizing ingredient.
