Tetrasodium EDTA is recommended for alkaline products such as foaming soap. EDTA works synergistically with your preservative to improve preservative efficacy. In soaps, it can counteract the defoaming action of hardness ions, reducing soap scum and improving lather. It is useful in formulating dry where the total water content of a product must be kept to a minimum. It can also be used to neutralize Carbomer, or raise the pH of personal care formulations.
The key difference between disodium EDTA and tetrasodium EDTA is that disodium EDTA has a pH lower than 7 while tetrasodium EDTA has a pH greater than 7.
Disodium EDTA is better suited in creams, lotions, hair conditioners.

Could you make a kit or recomend a recipe without baking soda! The glycerine based ones don't seem to wrk and I've only found 1 company that does it right called attitude. Anyway would be a market for it for sure✔✔
This is my third purchase of these jars. They are perfect for lip balms and luminizers.
Got here in no time , filled ready for market week after I placed the order.
This is a must have ingredient in some of my water-based formulations. Thx for having it available!
This scent is truly exceptional. Its dreamy quality makes it a joy to use, and when I added it to a lotion base, the result was fantastic. One of the best things about this scent is that it's very potent, so only a small amount is needed to achieve a nice, strong fragrance.
