Balsam Fir Essential Oil is steam distilled from the aromatic green needles and twigs of the Abies balsamea evergreen tree growing in northeastern Canada. The oil has a distinctively woodsy, balsamic, evergreen aroma and a very light, clean top note reminiscent of freshly crushed fir needles.
The Balsam Fir is a native evergreen conifer well-adapted to the cold climates of the northern United States and Canada.
