After harvest, coconut trees continue to replenish and reproduce, providing a sustainable supply of product. Highly trendy and well known for their health properties, coconuts have always been a star in the cosmetic industry. Many products capitalize on the properties of coconut extracted from the different parts of this fruit including the water, milk and oils. By utilizing the coconut water, meal and husk no part of the nut is wasted making these both sustainable and functional. The last part, the coconut shell, can also be used. Hard and protecting the precious contents of coconut fruit and water, the shells can be ground to create a functional material with a particle size of ~200-400 microns.
Coconut Shell Exfoliate is designed for sustainable or tropical themed products intended for efficient exfoliation. Coconut shell scrub mechanically buffs away keratinized skin cells leaving a smooth and even texture. Great for use in body and face applications, Coconut Shell Exfoliate can be used to provide natural exfoliation.

Formulating Guidelines: Stable up to 80° Celsius
Add after emulsification, or during cool down stage.
Storage: Store in a dry place at temperatures not exceeding 32°C. Based on stability studies, the optimum storage temperature for maximization of shelf life is 23 - 25°C. However, it may be stored at temperatures between 16 and 32°C if such specific temperature control is not available. Do not freeze.
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture
