SOLAGUM™ AX is obtained using an innovative and sustainable manufacturing process for which the acacia gum coats the xanthan gum. The ratio of this combination has been optimized for an excellent balance between performance and texture.
SOLAGUM™ AX is a natural thickening-stabilizing-texturizing polymer in the form of a non-dusty powder. It dissolves quickly in water to produce non-stringy and non-sticky aqueous gels. It is versatile and can be used in both skin care and hygiene products.

Textures of fluid to medium consistencies
Compatible with solvents, surfactants, AHAs, H2O2, sun filters and sunscreens, pigments, etc. NOT compatible with cationic surfactants, and electrolytes will decrease its thickening effect.
Please note: this gum can thicken in the presence of acids, peroxide, surfactants, salts.
Suggested Usage Rate for Viscosity Booster – 0.6-1.0% and pH 3-12
Suggested Usage Rate for Creams, lotions, shampoos, conditioners – 0.1-3%
