Euxyl PE 9010 Preservative

Euxyl™ pe 9010 preservative is a cosmetic preservative blend that offers clear advantages. The addition of ethylhexylglycerin reduces the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms and improves the antimicrobial activity. 

Applications:  Leave-on products, Rinse-off products, Wet Wipes, Sensitive skin products.
Including:  Highly aqueous products (oil in water emulsions - lotions and creams), room sprays, spritzers, toners, shampoo, conditioner and sugar scrubs (anhydrous).

If a chelator is not used in your formula, follow good manufacturing practises and use 1.1% which is the high usage rate.

Euxyl® PE 9010 preservative contains:

90% Phenoxyethanol and 10% Ethylhexylglycerin  

High levels of ethoxylated surfactants can reduce efficacy.

INCI: Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglyerin

Usage: 1 to 1.1 % for effectiveness. Max heat Up to 120°C (248°F)

pH: up to 12, for effectiveness.

Euxyl PE 9010 is free of paraben and formaldehyde.
