Mother Earth Essentials was founded by Carrie Armstrong. Her passion is sharing Aboriginal culture, and the vehicle for her message is her products. Carrie has based a philosophy steeped in respect and honour for the environment and the beautiful plants used in her luxurious bath, body and beauty line.
Carrie blends the finest essential oils, berries, medicinal, and ceremonial plants that Mother Earth provides with the teachings she learned as a young girl.
“I remember gathering plants and berries with my Grandmother
while she shared her stories and her deep understanding of tradi-
tional plants and their uses,” says Carrie. “My grandmother healed us
with her medicinal plants – everything from pink eye, sore throats,
stomach ailments, aches and pains, and infections. She’d make us
these beautiful, healing teas,” she says.
Carrie started to realize that, overall, there is a lack of awareness
about the significant contributions Aboriginal people have made in
the areas of plants and their medicinal uses. The pharmaceutical in-
dustry currently uses over 200 plants traditionally used by Aboriginal
people for thousands of years. Yet, Carrie realized from 15 years of
experience in the cosmetic industry, there were no products created from aboriginal knowledge.
Fantastic staff very knowledgable willing to help the only down part to soap and more is they don't seem to wanna keep their shelf stocked in. You're constantly wondering and asking if they have stuff if they do then they gotta go prepare it in bag it for you and put it in the back and we gotta wait and that's a little frustrating when you keep going in and the shelves are somewhat empty. They need to do better at stocking other than that. It's a fantastic place.

Cute Little Book
I thought the book would be bigger but it's a cute little book with a nice bit of information. More pictures than words which is helpful to get inspired. Would make a great gift to anyone who is showing interest in plants and DIY health and beauty. For a more intermediate type, this book my not be suitable.

Could you make a kit or recomend a recipe without baking soda! The glycerine based ones don't seem to wrk and I've only found 1 company that does it right called attitude. Anyway would be a market for it for sure✔✔
