Sweating may occur if so let soap set out to "cure" for up to a week. Once sweating is gone, wrapping will not be necessary.

Directions: Carefully slice soap base into small 1" pieces and place in microwave-safe container. Heat on low at 30-second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler which is the preferred method to get an even melt.

Depending on how strong you like your scented soap to be – a general rule of thumb or guideline is roughly 1 teaspoon (or more) per pound of soap. If using essential oils or fragrance oils – the strength of the scents vary from oil to oil. Try starting with 1 teaspoon per pound of soap base and work your way up.
Note: If the essential oil or fragrance oil has a colour to it – may give a slight colour or hue to the soap.

MOLD: Stir in your desired colour,& scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a mold. We recommend not filling the mold to the top for easier release. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Let cool until hard/solidified

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older

This is one of our most popular soap bases. It is formulated with the addition of 10% real goat's milk which is added to each batch. Many of our customers love goat's milk soap and I think that you will too! Our goat's milk soap base has a wonderful lather and great conditioning properties. It is a beautiful off-white cream colour. You'll love it! Ingredients - Saponified oils of Coconut, Palm, Castor and Safflower, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin) Pure Goats Milk, Purified Water, Sorbitol (moisturizer) Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier) Soybean protein (conditioner) and Titanium Dioxide

1 pound (0.45 kg) - 1/2 kilogram approx Goats milk is said to have skin softening properties as well as being very soothing. Our goat's milk soap is made with real liquid goats milk. It has a delicate creamy lather. The base has a creamy custard colour made with the same basic recipe as our ever-popular opaque base. Do not overheat or microwave soap bases as high heat will ruin the lather and make the soap brittle. Fingerprints can be removed from soap with a little of alcohol. A tip when pouring into soap molds, do not fill to the very top, leave a small space in order to allow the soap to release easily.
