2 Pound - This mold is great for making cold process and melt and pour soaps! The sides of this mold are reinforced so no box is needed. Even though this mold is very sturdy, it will work best if not filled all the way to the top. This will help prevent any bowing of the sides. The shape of the soap bars that come from this mold is a perfect size for the hands. We love this great tall and skinny mold!
We recommend using sodium lactate to harden the soap comes right out of the silicone molds.no sticking to the side or wrinkles that appear at times in silicone liners. Fill to 1/2 inch from the top. Your soap may need an extra couple of days to fully harden since the flexible silicone sides do not allow air inside the mold. This allows slower evaporation of water and hardening of soap Try it with melt & Pour.
To unmold your soap gently break the airlock around the edges of your mold and allow air down the sides.
Care of your mold: We recommend handwashing.

There was an honest error in filling my order. When Soap and More was made aware of it the response was immediate, positive and customer friendly. The correct merchandise was issued in a timely manner and the means of returning the incorrect product was hassle free. I would not hesitate to purchase from Soap and More again, and will definitely recommend them to others.
I love the mold and will be getting another one.
The mold itself is great and I really like it. The reason for the 3 stars is that 2lbs of melt and pour soap only fills the mold to a maximum of 2/3 full so I get smaller square bars. I think 3lbs would fill it to a bit below full (as recommended). Excellent quality mold, though!
Love this mold! It is sturdy (though we did make a little wood holder to support the sides), and the nice gloss finish makes for shiny soap sides. It makes tall/skinny soap making a breeze! So nice to not have to line those skinny molds with freezer paper anymore. A splurge for me, but very worth it.
