This is an ultrafine grade. It does not contain anti caking agents, so performs perfectly in Bath Bombs. Baking soda added to the bathwater has a softening effect on the skin. Add 1/2 cup to a full bath. Relieve itchy dry skin in a bath with 1 cup baking soda and 1 1/4 cups sweet almond oil in the water.

Many grocery store brands contain anti-caking agents that slow down the stickiness of the ingredients. As you may know, bath bomb recipes desire caking baking soda so the bombs stick together. We also use it in our cleaning powders where one would like to have a natural ingredient rather than harsh chemicals that would go down the drain and could cause environmental damage.
