Balsam Peru Essential Oil

Aromatically, Peru Balsam has a warm mild but deep, rich aroma that is woodsy yet sweet with a vanilla and benzoin quality. It also possesses a very subtle hint of cinnamon. Peru Balsam contains constituents that are present in Benzoin and Cinnamon Essential Oil
Balsam Peru is great for anchoring blends in soap that contain citrus EO.  Add to your oils prior to adding your lye water for better distribution in your soap.

Precautions
This oil can cause skin sensitization. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.

It was okay but not what I expected

I did not care for the scent, but that is just a personal preference. i was expecting the scent of balsam to be similar to that of our balsam trees here in B.C. It was not. The trees in Peru must be quite different.
