Blueberry Seed Oil Virgin Pesticide Free

Blueberry seed oil has a very pleasant fruity, blueberry scent. Although it can be added to emulsions, using this in a straightforward blend is recommended.  Unlike the refined version our virgin Blueberry Seed oil has a light and sweet aroma and a beautiful green colour.

Properties: Blueberry Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, omega 3 fatty acid,  Vitamin A, B complex, C and E. It has a light blueberry scent.

• Can aid in the relief of dry itchy scaly irritated skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.  Omega-3 fatty acids found in blueberry seed oil are healthy fats that benefit the skin.
• Not only do these fatty acids help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and bags under eyes, they help the skin to look plump, firm, and ageless.
• Another benefit the fatty acids in blueberry seed oil offers the skin is the management of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema.
• Though it is packed with fatty acids, blueberry seed oil is light and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, making it great for dry and oily skin types. The Phytosterols and vitamin E found in blueberry seed oil help with rapid absorption, which helps in moisturizing the skin.

Recommended Usage

Face, Body and Hair/scalp oils: Up to 15% of the total formulation.  Blend with our other carrier oils to create the perfect concoction.

In lotions, lip balms, body butters, natural soaps, shampoos and other: Typically up to 5% of the total formulation will suffice.

This product is intended for topical use in skincare formulations. 

Shelf life: This ingredient should be stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, and has a shelf-life of 1 year when stored properly.
