Dimethicone DM350

Dimethicone DM-350 fluid is a medium viscosity Dimethyl Polysiloxane used used in a variety of Personal Care and Industrial applications. It adds silky softness to hair formulations, improves spreadability and provides lubricity in lotions, is non-sticky, long-lasting, and improves water repellency. This product is recommended for hair care, skin care, and cosmetic products. It has a viscosity of 350 at 25ºC.

The CIR lists Dimethicone in the Cosmetic Ingredients Found Safe as Used in the following amounts:

•  Hair Care Preparations - up to 80% however 1 to 5% range is typical
• Makeup - up to 24%
