Solid Vegan Lip Balm Formula for the Family

Vegan Lip Balm (65 grams approx. or 1 dozen lip tubes

We have used equipment easily found in your kitchen.

1 Tablespoon Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 Tablespoon Grapeseed Oil
½ Tablespoon Abyssinian Seed Oil
1/2 Tablespoon Castor Oil
1/2 Tablespoon Candelilla Wax or Vegan Wax
1 Tablespoon Mango Butter
Lip safe pigments can be added for colour
Approx 10 drops of your choice of flavor or safe essential oil

Melt all the ingredients in a double boiler except for the flavour or essential oils. Do not overheat as this will degrade the ingredients.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly to add the flavour or essential oil. If it gets solid prior to pouring, put it back on the double boiler.
Once it is melted, pour into your containers. Keep uncovered until it becomes solid.

Label and enjoy.
