Cupuacu is a close cousin to the cacao plant, the trees and fruits are similar. Cupuacu butter is softer, therefore easier to use and offers more benefits than the cocoa butter. Be prepared to embrace the chocolate scent of this beautiful virgin butter which lends more of its properties than refined.
It is a great substitute for vegans who do not want to use lanolin.
Cupuacu butter has very high water absorption capacity (over 200% greater than lanolin). Due to its capacity for water absorption and the ability to obstruct the evaporation of moisture from the skin, Cupuaçu butter can restore the hair and skin's natural humidity and elasticity.

Lovely butter. I have used in lip products and pressed serums. Great packaging too.
Both body butters were very soft and easy to use.
Cupuacu Butter
Just started using this recently, but I love it more than any of the other butters. I made some lip balm with it and used it in shampoo bar and face cream.
