These arrived well-packed and unbroken, which I was very happy about after a disappointing purchase from Amazon. They seem to be sturdy glass, which is great for my purposes as a herbalist. The only downside is that the manufacturer seemed to have ground down the bottom edges of the base to create a bevel which is sharp and seems to have some small chips already. I'll just need to be careful not to cut myself on these edges, but otherwise, I'm quite happy!
