Castor Oil is one of the few oils that can be used as an emulsifying agent. It is also a humectant, helping to draw moisture to the skin and provides a protective barrier on your skin that will protect against harsh environmental conditions. It has very little scent. Not only that, but it has antifungal properties and is a viscous oil.

Used quite a high percent of this in a batch of soap and I am really pleased! Lovely lather and skin feels great! Added some Silk in at the start too for a real luxury boost.
I use 10% or less in my soap and agree the soft luxurious lather it provides is divine. What % do you use in your soap?
