Covid 19 Store Updates

To Our Soap & More Friends, 

COVID-19  has forever changed the world.  Due to the uncertain times we have decided to reopen Nov 1st with the following parameters.

Customers must come with their own mask and wear them safely & correctly

When you enter the store, make sure to use the hand sanitizer.  If you are wearing gloves, we ask that you use the sanitizer.

Only 3 to 4 customers in the store at one time depending on how many staff are in the store.

Follow social distancing at all times

No children if at all possible. If you  need to bring them, kindly keep your children with you and don't let them wander on their own. We will not be allowing unaccompanied children in the store. Please help us keep them safe by reminding them not to touch things.

PAYMENT METHODS: Please help us by using contactless payment when possible. We can accept cash but at this time cards are safer for everyone.

Our top priority continues to be the welfare of our customers and team members. Sales associates will be wearing masks, and we have plexi glass at the till for extra safety. There has been no occurrences of COVID 19 at Soap & More.

We are all in this together, and we are doing our best to navigate in this quickly evolving environment, as we adhere to hygiene recommendations, government updates, and all regulatory requirements. In this climate, we are, and will continue to be, making decisions on a day-to-day basis, never losing sight of the end goal which is to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, while also remaining committed to delivering our goods and products during this difficult time.

  • We have instructed our staff to follow the public health authorities’ guidelines regarding good hygiene by reminding them to frequently wash their hands and sanitize.
  • We have implemented sanitizing of all work surfaces and spaces.
  • We have re-organized the work-spaces in our warehouses to provide better social distancing between team members.
  • We have asked any of our team members who feel sick or are exhibiting flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. Likewise, any of our staff members who have travelled are automatically self-isolating for the recommended 14-day period.

We are incredibly proud of our team members who have been working tirelessly to fulfill our customer orders for essential items such as sanitizing alcohols, cleaning supplies, wellness and personal care products, and their associated packaging. In these uncertain times when the deluge of information can feel overwhelming, we want to reassure you that we are mindfully working to balance the recommended steps to minimize the spread of COVID-19, while also ensuring that we can make these necessities available for our customers.

As such, these are the actions that we will be taking to not only help our employees stay safe and do our part in flattening the curve, but also to continue to provide goods to you, our customers:

We are encouraging our customers to place their orders online for pick-up in store or curbside pickup.  We are also asking that you please refrain from calling customer service or the store to inquire on the status of your order as this takes team members away from fulfilling orders. We have implemented systems to limit the quantity ordered for certain products, and you will receive an email confirming your pick-up time. We ask that you refrain from coming in prior to receiving this email confirmation to help us meet government regulated social distancing protocols. This is not a time to panic, and we want to reassure you that our inventory on essential items such as sanitizing alcohols, cleaning supplies, bottles and closures is good and that we will be continuing to receive more of these products from our suppliers every few days. We are truly all in this together, and we encourage that everyone be mindful to be kind. Together, we will meet the challenges of these times.

We feel that these changes are essential at this time. We also recognize that you, our customers, may feel frustrated with the extra time it may take to receive your order. Please know we are doing our very best and ask for your patience and support while we do our part to keep our part of the supply chain open and operating as safely and effectively as possible. And, lastly, we cannot emphasize enough that this is the time to be kind and mindful of the fact that we are all in this together. Please be respectful of the policies that we have implemented to limit the quantity of sanitizing products you can purchase at any one time, and please work with us as we continue to work tirelessly to meet your needs. Time not spent on the phone, is time spent packaging and fulfilling orders. We appreciate you and you really are and always will be our Soap and More Family..
