Apple Cider Vinegar Powder

 Apple Cider Vinegar Powder is a cleansing ingredient with a soothing touch that can be added to a wide range of natural body care products. A mild ingredient that helps to balance the skin’s pH, Apple Cider Vinegar Powder is a popular element in toners and face washes, all-over exfoliating scrubs, hair scrubs, rinses, and shampoos. This powder contains malic acid, which is well known for its benefits when applied to acne-prone skin, helping to gently exfoliate and unclog pores. Apple Cider Vinegar Powder also makes an excellent scalp scrub, helping to remove product build-up, draw out impurities and slough off dead skin cells.

Not recommended for CP shampoo bars as the after feel is not the best.

To make a standard apple cider vinegar, mix 1 part powder to 1.5 parts water by weight.

It has a strong smell, so minimal use is recommended. It can easily be masked with 3% to 5% with fragrance or essential oils. It is less acidic than other vinegar as the pH ranges from 3 to 5, which works well with hair and skin care products that should have pH ranges from 3.5 to 6. Substitute it at 2% to 5% for the same amount of water in your formulas.   It can be added to facial masks, soaps, hair conditioners and other products.
