Our Blue Chamomile essential oil, with its characteristic deep azure blue colour, has a warm, sweet, full-bodied herbaceous aroma. Azulene, a blue-pigmented sesquiterpene, can only be formed in the intense heat of distillation from the parent chemical, matricin, a constituent found in the raw plant material, specifically the flowers.
The different chamomile oils:
German Blue Chamomile essential oil has a high content of azulene, the active organic compound of chamomile, which bears a blue colour. This oil is most suitable as an ingredient for skin care products.
Roman Chamomileessential oil is used in body care recipes, as well as for aromatherapy. It has a very pleasant, soothing, apple-like aroma.
Origin: Nepal, Steam distilled from the flowers. Middle note.
Botanical NameMatricaria recutita
German Blue Chamomile blends well with other floral essential oils like Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli and Clary Sage for diffusion.
Safety Considerations: Has GRAS status (Generally Recognized As Safe), however this essential oil has prescription drug interaction and may contraindicate drugs metabolized by CYP2D6, CYP1A2, CYP2C9, and CYP3A4.7 Dilute before using. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.
I haven’t used this yet, but it’s such a gorgeous blue color and smells incredible!

Baking soda allergy!
Could you make a kit or recomend a recipe without baking soda! The glycerine based ones don't seem to wrk and I've only found 1 company that does it right called attitude. Anyway would be a market for it for sure✔✔
