IMPORTANT: Evaluating Hydrosol Aroma
Due to the nature of the steam distillation process, hydrosol not only contains some essential oil, but also some water-soluble plant compounds (plant acids, etc.) not present in the oil itself. Chamomile hydrosol is a popular single ingredient facial toner for all skin types and is often seen in formulas for dry or mature skin. It can be used as a water substitute in your favorite body care formulas.
Formulate a make-up remover which is helpful in easing out the sting of insect bites and sunburn. It is also can help ease muscular aches and arthritic conditions. Roman Chamomile Hydrolat is calming and is both safe and recommended for use in baby-care and childcare formulations. Its remarkable calming and anti-inflammatory properties make it a wonderful addition to sprays for baby's room, baby's bathwater and used to wipe after diaper changes.

Got an awful reaction to this in seconds of using it in a facial product. Super red and irritated!
Sorry to hear that, Savana. How did you make out with the Lavender and rose hydrosols?
This is my favourite hydrosol! I love the beautiful scent. :)
If you like Roman Chamomile, you'll love this. I had to reduce the chamomile in my lotion recipe in third due to the strong fragrance.
