Cinnamon leaf has been used for culinary and medicinal purposes. The leaf oil has a higher eugenol content then the bark oil, which increases its analgesic properties.

Avoid use in young children 3 years of age and younger and during pregnancy

Cautions - Cinnamon Leaf is relatively non-toxic; possible irritant because of the cinnamaldehyde. Eugenol is irritant to the mucous membranes: use in moderation.
