Glyceryl oleate adds wonderful refatting properties to your products. Primarily used in Shower Gel, Shampoo and Face Wash it offsets the sometimes drying effect of surfactant ingredients to bring moisture and softness, completely transforming your Shower Gel, Shampoo or Face Wash.
Used as emulsifier and nonionic co-surfactant in various skin and hair care products as a conditioning agent.
Glyceryl oleate is a mixture of portions of glycerin and oleic acid used as an emollient, surfactant & emulsifier in cosmetics.
Add to oil/emulsifier phase of formulas. Typical use level: 0.5-3%. If used in surfactant systems, typical use level is 0.5-1% which should still keep shampoos clear and transparent. For external use only.
For emulsions, you simply add the ingredient to the oil phase and heat with your oils.
For surfactant blends, you can add during your production, you just need to heat your mix in order to incorporate the Glyceryl oleate
Pale yellow soft solid, becomes liquid at temperatures above 21°C (70°F), bland odour. Soluble in oil.
