Sucragel CF is an all-purpose oil gelling agent based on sugar chemistry. Perfect for cosmetic formulations, such as transparent gel-to-milk products. Supplied as an easy-to-use liquid. Any oils can be gelled (including Silicons, sun filters, butters, waxes, esters, synthetic oils). Can be used at either room temperature or at temperatures up to 80ºC.

Recommended Usage Level: 20-25% to create an oily gel, 5-10% as a cold process emulsifier in o/w emulsions

Perfect for use in clear gel-to-milk cleansers, massage gels, exfoliating scrubs and masks.
Blend the Sucragel with your electric beater until it is white, and then add a single pipette of oil. Beat for at least 30 seconds, and add another pipette of oil. Repeat, beating continuously, until the mixture thickens substantially and transforms into a translucent gel that forms soft peaks. Start adding the oil in slightly larger portions, continuing to beat thoroughly between in corporations. Add up to 5% fragrance, slowly mixing.
Sucragel Cf should be kept above pH 4.5 and below pH 8. Also, note that it only emulsifies the system, it will not add viscosity or stability to the water phase. Therefore, it is important to add a rheology modifier to ensure the water phase is stabilized.
