Formulating with shea butter can be finicky. Always melt on low heat and once melted keep on the double boiler a little longer. Once you pour into the containers and let them cool down. Put them in the fridge overnight.
Did you know that unrefined shea butter contains more antioxidants, vitamin E &, phytosterols that helps the skin's condition?
The best way to heat shea butter while maintaining its properties is by using a double broiler to avoid overheating. Exceeding 175 degrees F can damage the butter's nutritional qualities, so make sure you're checking the temperature often! Tempering shea butter by using a double boiler along with rapid cooling also avoids graininess.

Melts beautifully. Nice scent.
I haven’t used it yet unfortunately. Will be using in the next week or so.
High grade product at a great price.
I used in with my balm recipe and found it worked very well. It melts evenly and leaves skin feeling moisturized.
